Since 1984, Castello Romitorio winery has dedicated itself to the study, exploration, and promotion of Brunello di Montalcino wine. This endeavor has been made possible by the collaboration of Italian artist Sandro Chia and Franco Martini, an expert in Brunello di Montalcino and the cellar master of Castello Romitorio. This collaboration now continues with the next generation, as Sandro’s son Filippo and Franco’s son Stefano carry on the legacy. With an intimate knowledge of the land and a deep respect for local heritage and tradition, Castello Romitorio embodies the essence of Brunello di Montalcino. Their agricultural practices are sustainable, taking into consideration the surrounding nature, and their interaction with the indigenous flora and fauna captures and develops the subtle nuances present in both the land and the vines.

TASTING NOTES
Upon tasting, the same captivating aroma emerges on the palate: cherry and delicate floral notes envelop and soften the fine yet tightly wound tannins. This wine presents itself as remarkably serious, offering a beautiful juxtaposition of structured poise and flowing, almost ethereal elegance—both stern and forgiving simultaneously.
