Since 1984, Castello Romitorio winery has dedicated itself to the study, exploration, and promotion of Brunello di Montalcino wine. This endeavor has been made possible by the collaboration of Italian artist Sandro Chia and Franco Martini, an expert in Brunello di Montalcino and the cellar master of Castello Romitorio. This collaboration now continues with the next generation, as Sandro’s son Filippo and Franco’s son Stefano carry on the legacy. With an intimate knowledge of the land and a deep respect for local heritage and tradition, Castello Romitorio embodies the essence of Brunello di Montalcino. Their agricultural practices are sustainable, taking into consideration the surrounding nature, and their interaction with the indigenous flora and fauna captures and develops the subtle nuances present in both the land and the vines.

TASTING NOTES
With a deep purple colour and an impressive nose, this wine is full of aromas reminiscent of cherries, sour cherries, blueberries, redcurrants, blackberries, lavender, vanilla, green pepper, cedar, allspice, and nutmeg. On the palate, it features a medium body, crisp acidity, and medium but juicy tannins.
