Nestled among the rolling vineyards of Wintzenheim in Alsace, Domaine Josmeyer has been producing wines for five generations, dating back to 1854. The 25-hectare estate spans 90 plots, including prized parcels in the renowned Grand Cru sites of Hengst and Brand, known for their exceptional wine production for centuries. Today, sisters Céline and Isabelle oversee the Domaine, having embraced biodynamic practices since 2000. The hand-harvested grapes are gently crushed and allowed to rest in century-old wooden casks, where they ferment naturally at their own pace. The wines are left on their lees for several months during winter.

TASTING NOTES
This dry white wine, with its bold and often dense character. It opens with aromas of stone and aromatic essences, fleshy and intense, leading to a mouthwatering finish marked by powerful citrus zest, bitters, and a strong saline presence. Tts robust body is supported by a long acidity that structures the wine, bringing hints of spice, cedar, and a sappy, iodised quality to the texture.
