Nestled among the rolling vineyards of Wintzenheim in Alsace, Domaine Josmeyer has been producing wines for five generations, dating back to 1854. The 25-hectare estate spans 90 plots, including prized parcels in the renowned Grand Cru sites of Hengst and Brand, known for their exceptional wine production for centuries. Today, sisters Céline and Isabelle oversee the Domaine, having embraced biodynamic practices since 2000. The hand-harvested grapes are gently crushed and allowed to rest in century-old wooden casks, where they ferment naturally at their own pace. The wines are left on their lees for several months during winter.

TASTING NOTES
This dry Riesling is characterised by its lively and digestible structure. The wine presents delicate and precise aromas, with notes of citrus fruits, grapefruit, or even blood orange in warmer years, and vegetal hints of aromatic herbs with a touch of salinity. On the palate, the wine is driven by a taut and lasting acidity, which shapes the citrus flavours as they evolve in harmony. A strong salinity and beautiful minerality accompany the texture, which continues to unfold and blossom after a few minutes of aeration.
