Pazo Señoráns, a stunning representation of 16th-century ancestral Galician homes transformed into a winery, exudes the timeless charm and grandeur of a bygone era in the countryside. This historical estate, originally owned by the husband and wife team of Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque, is now lovingly managed by their four children – Marisol, Vicky, Javier, and Santiago.
In the year 1989, the winery unveiled its inaugural vintage, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its winemaking legacy. Even before this milestone, the estate had already begun cultivating wine grapes, laying the foundation for its renowned wine production.
The etymology of the name Pazo Señoráns remains shrouded in mystery, with its origins unclear – whether the Pazo was named after the place or vice versa, the exact source of the name remains unknown.
