Philipponnat is a renowned Champagne house with a rich history dating back to the 16th century, when the family began supplying wine to the court of Louis XIV as merchants and negotiators. Although their Champagne heritage traces back to 1522, the modern iteration of the house was established in 1910 by Pierre Philipponnat and is currently overseen by Charles Philipponnat. Despite its small size, Philipponnat is highly regarded in the Champagne world, producing around 650,000 bottles annually. Their range includes the flagship Brut Royale Reserve, known as the true ambassador of the House, along with the prestigious single-plot-vineyard Champagne, Clos des Goisses.
