Puchang, located in the Turpan Valley of Xinjiang province, China, is truly an oasis in the desert. The estate spans approximately 100 hectares of vineyards, producing up to 130,000 bottles annually. Originally established in 1975, Puchang was purchased in 2008 by Hong Kong businessman Mr. K.K. Cheung, who redefined its path as one of China’s pioneering organic wine producers.
With a strong focus on organic viticulture and winemaking, Puchang is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and care in every aspect of production. The estate works with unique local grape varieties to showcase the distinct flavours of the Xinjiang terroir. Due to the extreme desert climate, pests are virtually non-existent in this region, making organic farming more feasible. Puchang holds ECOCERT certification, a mark of excellence recognized internationally for its commitment to organic practices.
