RIEDEL Veloce represents a remarkable innovation driven by state-of-the-art technology. This collection features taller glasses than the RIEDEL Extreme series, with a thinner stem and more refined bowls. At RIEDEL’s Weiden factory, a specially designed machine enables the creation of stems that match the quality and elegance of those crafted by master glassmakers. The base, measuring 100 mm in diameter, sets a new benchmark for large glass designs and represents the maximum size achievable through machine production.
The weight of RIEDEL Veloce has been significantly reduced compared to the Extreme collection, offering a perfectly balanced feel reminiscent of handmade glassware.
Maximilian Riedel chose the Italian name “Veloce,” meaning “fast,” to highlight the cutting-edge machine technology that allows for the rapid and large-scale production of a glass that retains the artistry of traditional craftsmanship.
