Rombauer Vineyards was established in 1980 when the Rombauer family harvested their first crop of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District. By 1984, they introduced their first releases of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Over the past four decades, the winery has garnered widespread recognition for its outstanding wines and renowned hospitality, creating memorable experiences for wine lovers around the world.
Today, Rombauer’s tagline, “The Joy of Wine,” captures the life philosophy of founder Koerner Rombauer, celebrating the deep connection between food and wine. The winery farms its own estate and partners with trusted growers across Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and the Sierra Foothills. With innovative techniques like micro-farming using drones and NDVI technology, they optimise quality while ensuring sustainable practices. All fruit is hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard, with harvests conducted at night.
As a proud American company, Rombauer is dedicated to its people and is recognized for producing wines of exceptional character, style, and value, all while fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability.
