Domaine Geantet-Pansiot, located in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, was founded in 1954 by Edmond Geantet and Bernadette Pansiot. Though discreet, the family-run winery has gained renown for its exceptional wines. Over the years, it has expanded to include 22 hectares of vines, planted on limestone and clay-limestone soils, and farmed using sustainable agricultural practices. Today, the estate is managed by Fabien, son of Vincent and grandson of Edmond. The wines produced by the Geantet family in the Côte de Nuits are celebrated for their outstanding quality.

TASTING NOTES
The nose is moderately toasty, offering ripe and earthy aromas of wild red and dark berries, violet, and a hint of leather. The flavours on the palate are rich and well-structured, with even greater mid-palate concentration, though slightly less refined. These are enveloped in a youthful, austere finish that is impressively persistent, though rustic and compact, with a subtle mocha note that gradually emerges. The wine shows good complexity, and overall, it delivers just a bit more depth.
